Zoot performed alongside the Joe Loss Band at the Lawns in Lincoln recently at the Annual Dance in aid of St. Barnabas Hospice 
 
The event was a huge success with a feast of fine music for 'Strictly come Dancing' fans to show their skills . 
The Joe Loss Band has been a top British recording and broadcasting band for over 60 years with an avid following of loyal supporters . Band leader Todd miller
was very complimentary of the performance of Zoot , ably supporting his band with a wide range of dance music from the 40's to the present day , singling out for special praise vocalist Rachael Levine . 
 
Zoot also featured Scunthorpe drummer Martin King , playing for his first performance alongside Bill on saxes, Mike on guitar, Steve on bass and Dave on keyboard .
Martins contribution was invaluable , keeping the strict tempo demanded by serious ballroom dancers . For those that preferred to listen there was a terrific variety of easy listening music from artists as diverse as Ella Fitzgerald to Van Morrison
